My soccer season started.  I had a lot a fun at my first game! We are called the RS Pests. I have ten girls on my team. My color is pink which is what color I wanted. I am number seven.

Most of my games are Monday evenings.  Here is the schedule if you want to come. They are behind the Goshen College gym on soccer field one.  Practice and warm up is the first half hour and the game starts on the hour.

Momma and I decided to go and do schoolwork outside last Friday because it was very nice out.  I hope it warms up some more so we can work outside more often. I like it better.

Today is the first day of spring. Flowers are starting to come up!

I found some crocuses. The purple are my favorite ones.  If there were pink ones, those would be my favorite.

I will look for more flowers, because different new kinds will be coming out soon.

Oma brought us some sprinkles for on toast when she went to Bonaire last year.

Some of them look like mini mini marshmallows.  Some are like shredded pieces of chocolate.  And the others are like chocolate sprinkles for on donuts.

We had them for lunch today. I did not like the shredded ones, but they were Andrea’s favorite.  The others were good too, but the pink and yellow ones were VERY sweet.

Just for fun we looked it some words. Hagelslag means hailstorm.  Vlokken  is shavings and vruchten hagel are the fruit flavored ones.  We learned there are some licorice flavored ones called muisjes which means little mice. Daddy and I might like those!

It was a very rainy morning.

…and get your friend wet day!Momma really did not like me getting her wet, so I got Adrian wet!

I went sledding with my big brother.  Every year we make a sledding hill on our porch.  Then we have to try it out to see if it is doing good.  Once it is done, we can go down as much as we want.  Sometimes it will break and it isn’t so good for sledding until we fix it. Then we wait for more snow to build it back up.

I hope for more snow tomorrow and the next day!

These are my friends, Betsy and Lisa.  They started out as little brats because they were always jumping up and down. But as they got bigger, they stopped jumping. They are a lot more fun to play with now!  Especially when they want to get petted, they like to snuggle.

I was hiding from the puppies in this box.  She tried to make me pet her.  It worked!  Another time, the other dog followed me in!  Once I start petting them, they follow me when I walk away.

They are the neighbors dogs.  They live outside all the time or in their barn.  They really like it!  

They live with the goats now.  They do not guard the alpacas because the alpacas are all be adopted into new families.  The dogs are learning to guard the goats like alpacas, but it hardly ever works because some of the goats, especially George, fight the dogs for their food!
