We went to the dunes. It was fun. We had lots and lots of fun at the beach.

It was much more fun because Mark and Katie were here.

I released at least 17 monarchs! It was fun.

I found two eggs yesterday. I left them because Audrey said not to collect anymore just now.

On Saturday, we went to a friend’s house. They took us kayaking and canoeing. I really wanted to canoe by myself. There was not enough room so I ended up sitting in the middle, like always.

Mommy and Daddy promised me that I could go kayaking by myself when we got back. I watched enough, so I knew how to do it. When they had the kayak ready for me, I took off without Daddy. It was easy!

Daddy went out with me in case I had trouble. It was easy peasy! I think the next time, I can kayak all by myself if it is not windy. I did all by myself. I want to do it again. It was fun!

Momma decided to be silly with an old picture 🙂

We had lots and lots of fun, even though it rained for over 12 whole hours. The next day we backpacked all the way back to the car. It was a lot of fun though! Looking forward to going backpacking again.
