This is the best way to start my day. Snuggling with Momma and reading a good book!

Nativity
I got to be part of the church’s Christmas nativity. Adrian was Joseph and I was Mary. Andrea and Audrey were “Angel wranglers”. The little girls were angels and Jackson was the little drummer boy.
I got to sit in the front, play with “baby Jesus” and whisper to Joseph. We got to sing some of the songs too.
Grinch Party
Yesterday at the library they had a Grinch Party. We went to Whoville and I learned my name would be “Augie Kaska, Moo-who.” We took silly pictures in front of a blue sheet.
We met the Grinch. We also got to try some music instruments. My favorite was the violin. Mommy liked the cello.
When we left, we got some ice cream! Then we came home and had lunch because I was kind of hungry.
Visiting Santa
We went to visit Santa when we went to find our Christmas tree.
Santa Claus is not real, but it is fun to talk to him. This year I said I wanted snow. I usually say that. I liked the candy cane he gave me after we talked too!
First Snow of the Year
Today it snowed for the first time this year! We can listen to Christmas music today, then we have to wait till Thanksgiving. We made snowmen, when I was done with it, I hit it with a snowball.
Then we went shopping in Shipshewana. Mommy treated us to donuts. Lastly, we went to the butcher and we saw a cute little kitten. We named him “Paul Jr.” because he looked like the neighbors’ cat Paul.
Colorado Bike
Aunt Bonnie brought this bike for me to play with while in Colorado. I liked it a lot! I played on it most everyday, except for when it was freezing or wet.
At first Mommy wanted me to ride up and down were someone could see me. One day, I realized the Andrea could see me while working on the roof. I wanted to see how far I could ride before anyone noticed me. Andrea saw me and ran after me. Then she made me ride back. I still beat her to the cattle guard.
Mommy and Daddy said I could ride to the cattle guard as much as I wanted then. Unfortunately, we had to go home soon.
Pirate Megan
I have been having fun pretending to be a pirate! The treasure map sometimes leads me to a candy treasure, sometimes it takes me to an ice cream treasure, sometimes it takes me to a paper treasure. It has never taken me to a gold treasure.
Birthday Surprise
Do you notice anything different? For my birthday Daddy let me get my ears pierced. I was so excited!
He asked me while on a date, but I did not know then. I decided I wanted them done, and on Thursday we went and got them! It hurt a bit, but not for long. I like my earrings a lot.
New Butterflies
Discovered a new type of butterfly. We can’t figure out what they are!
Saying Goodbye to Monarchs!
Momma found these pictures of me releasing Monarchs three years ago. I still love to help Audrey say goodbye to her butterflies. Then it is fun to watch for them flying around the house!
